Wasted Beach
Rustingtons beach has declined into a crumblies paradise and is utterly unattractive to anyone under 60.
Until the late 1950s, Rustington had a Lido in Broadmark lane. In the 1990s, the Broadmark Hotel, with its seaside beer garden, was destroyed by developers. These two features made for a popular family area and also attracted other businesses like ice cream vans that parked at the very bottom of the lane. Now all are gone and the facilities they provided no longer are the bane of the decrepit who move into the area to die.
Rustington is turning into a Necropolis.
